My thanks to Richard Bruton over at the Comicon.com website for giving Barmy Comix a glowing review! You can read what he says here:

...and my thanks if you do download Barmy Comix No.1 and send a donation via PayPal at lew.stringer@BTopenworld.com
While you're over at Comicon.com, check out the other articles too. It's a great website!

I managed to download it for free. No paywall. Whoo oo!
Love it Lew!!
I didn't say there was a paywall, but there is a way to donate £2 voluntarily by PayPal if you choose.
Unbelievable!! Is he having a laugh over not having to pay a measly £2?
Would seem so, and sadly he's not the only one. Admittedly it is a voluntary contribution so I can't complain but I'd hoped that someone who'd read that review would have donated. Never mind.
No need for that first comment by Anon! I paid £5 for my mine as I've had lots of value from this and Lew's Blimey blog. Would love to be able to purchase it in paper form in the future though.
You provide something for free then complain people take it for free? It's your fault not mine.
Thanks Unknown. No plans to publish Barmy Comix in print but hopefully I'll have Combat Colin No.5 out in the summer, depending on how things go.
Thanks Lew. Will look to order that when you have it out. Can't wait for the Monster Fun Special either. Hopefully followed by a Buster Special in 2022. Fingers crossed.
Not sure why the troll is boasting about getting it for free. It's one thing not to pay for it, but there's no need to be snide to the creator on his own website.

Thanks Paul. I'm saying nothing about anon because the last time I stopped allowing negative comments through I then had one accusing me of trolling myself! How does that work, when the troll himself tells me that? :D It's a crazy world.
Not sure if there'll be another Buster special but I sincerely hope there will be more humour ones from Rebellion. With Beano and Viz being the top selling UK comics it makes sense to tap into that market.
