On my drawing board this morning is another Big Eggo strip for the Beano. Here's a photo of part of it at the rough pencil stage. The finished strip will be in print in early May.
The scanner can still pick up some lines if they're heavy but what I tend to do is scan my pages as black and white bitmap at 85%, and that makes sure no blue pencil is picked up. Another method is to scan it in colour and adjust the levels but I haven't tried that.

Do you use a specific kind of blue pencil that's invisible to the scanner? My son is a budding comic artist and he love picking up tips.
Yes, I use a Prismacolor Col-Erase 20068 Light Blue. You'll find them for sale at various places online.
