The Dandy Annual 2025 is coming soon!

Now available to pre-order from the D.C. Thomson Shop and other online sources, The Dandy Annual 2025 will feature 112 pages of new material including old favourites and brand new characters.

The new Dinah Mo, who made her debut in this year's Dandy Summer Special will feature in four double page strips in the annual, written and drawn by me.

Although using the name of a 1970s traditional "naughty kid" character, the new Dinah Mo, created by the editorial team at D.C. Thomson, is an eco warrior whose intentions are to save the planet even if the results accidentally cause chaos!

With a splendid cover by Steve Bright showing characters old and new, The Dandy Annual 2025 will be out in August and can be pre-ordered from the shop at this link:

Top Secret!

I've written/drawn four two-page strips of a brand new character who will appear in The Dandy Annual 2025 - on sale in September 2024!

I can't reveal who it is, or show any artwork as that'll be spoilery so, until next year, here's the only spolier-free bit I can show; a sound effect from one of the panels! (I always enjoy lettering sound effects.) No clues here, and, no, loud explosions are not normally part of her character.

More about that strip nearer the publication date, but for now don't forget that I have four new Kid Cops pages in the current book, The Dandy Annual 2024, on sale now!

A brief history:

I've worked as a freelance professional humour comics artist and writer for over 40 years. I sold my first cartoon in 1983 and since then have created many characters such as TOM THUG, PETE AND HIS PIMPLE, COMBAT COLIN, BRICKMAN, ROBO-CAPERS, DEREK THE TROLL, TOUGH GUY AND SCRUFFY, SUBURBAN SATANISTS, SGT.SHOUTY and others.
