Joe King preview

I'm working on the last of the Joe King strips today, but here's a photograph of the original art from one I drew a couple of months ago. You can expect to see various Beano characters guest-starring in the Joe King strips over the coming weeks, and for this one I chose Ball Boy. I based him on the style of Chris McGee's version as that's the one currently running in the comic.

If the strips are being published in the order I drew them, this one should appear in this week's Beano, on sale Wednesday.

Are you going to the London Supercon or Thought Bubble? I never seen you there.

I'd go if I was invited as a guest but I'm getting to old to be standing in line for hours queuing up to get in.

You're never too old to go to a comic con!! Haven't you said yourself that comics are for all age of people?

I meant I physically don't feel like queuing for hours now. Yes, comics are indeed for everyone! (Now if only everyone would buy them!)

Yes, that's the strip in the latest issue. :)

Yes they're running them in order so far. It doesn't matter really as there's no continuity but I don't see a copy until I buy it on Wednesday so I just assume they'll publish them in the order I drew them.
