The Glasgow Looking Glass is back after 199 years

One for those of you who wish old comics would return. After a gap of 199 years, The Glasgow Looking Glass is back in a new edition! Claiming to be the world's first comic (and who are we to doubt it), The Glasgow Looking Glass was launched in 1825... and now it's back with an all-new issue! 

With 12 pages in tabloid size on newsprint, the modern edition features satirical cartoons by modern cartoonists, and even one by an oldie such as myself (see above).

There's also a two page article by John McShane on the history of the comic. 

I believe this is a one-off for now, but who knows? Perhaps it'll be back again in another 200 years.
