The hospital told me last week that I'll have to start treatment for my leukemia in a few weeks. They're having a meeting first to decide which treatment would be best.
As I get more fatigued now and will have to be wary of infections I've reluctantly withdrawn from any conventions I had scheduled.
If the treatment helps and I feel well enough I hope to attend some shows later on in the year. There's no cure for this blood cancer (CLL) and I'll be on medication for the rest of my life but hopefully I'll show some progress.
It's not a decision taken lightly and I'll miss my comics friends very much as you mean a lot to me.
