Captain Wally was one of my first professional comic series and I had a blast. Is it canonical in the Marvel Universe? Well, I'd like to think so. I'm waiting for the MCU to announce a Captain Wally movie any day now. Or maybe when they've covered the zillion other characters.

Thanks Geoff. I'm still pleased with how it turned out although I was learning as I went along. There's quite a Mike Higgs influence in this one I think, as I'd been his assistant about 18 months earlier.
Are you joking about Captain Wally getting his own movie Lew?
I'm afraid so, Ben. I can't see Marvel ever doing a movie about a humour character. Captain Wally is too British in its humour for a worldwide movie anyway. ("Wally" is just a name in the USA.)
