This Saturday: MANCHESTER COMIC FEST

I'll be one of the guests at Manchester Comic Fest this Saturday, 27th April, which takes place at Wythenshawe Forum outside Manchester. Other guests include Rachael Smith, Mike Collins, Nigel Parkinson, David Leach, Dan Whitehead and more!

I'll be bringing along my comics Combat Colin Nos.1 to 3, Derek the Troll, Pedantic Stan... and a few copies of The Dandy Annual 2019.

I'll also be doing sketches on request, so hope to see you there!

A brief history:

I've worked as a freelance professional humour comics artist and writer for 40 years. I sold my first cartoon in 1983 and since then have created many characters such as TOM THUG, PETE AND HIS PIMPLE, COMBAT COLIN, BRICKMAN, ROBO-CAPERS, DEREK THE TROLL, TOUGH GUY AND SCRUFFY, SUBURBAN SATANISTS, SGT.SHOUTY and others.

My clients include IPC, Marvel Comics, Egmont, Panini, D.C. Thomson, Rebellion and many others, covering the comics field from originated characters to licensed properties, pre-school to adult on comics such as BUSTER, OINK!, BEANO, DANDY, TRANSFORMERS, SONIC THE COMIC, TOXIC, VIZ, CiTV TELLYTOTS, LEGO ADVENTURES, HERMAN HEDNING, SWEET FA, ACTION FORCE, SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN, RAMPAGE, LUCKY BAG COMIC, SWIFTSURE, WARLOCK, WHITE DWARF, ACES WEEKLY, THE DAREDEVILS, THE MIGHTY WORLD OF MARVEL, and many more.
