Lord Snooty returns

Next week's Big Eggo strip features a vintage guest star who, like Big Eggo, also debuted in The Beano No.1 in 1938. Yes, it's Lord Snooty, back for one week only.

I wrote/drew an ongoing Lord Snooty series for the Beano a few years ago and as this is the Beano's 80th anniversary year I couldn't let it pass without bringing the character back for a brief appearance. The editors approved, so here he is.

See Big Eggo and Lord Snooty together in Beano No.3948, on sale Wednesday 15th August!

When penning in your artwork and you make a mistake in pen, what do you do?
Also great cartoon of Lord snooty!

Thanks, Jack. I colour my art in Photoshop so when I've scanned in my inked artwork I make any corrections on my computer before I colour it.

In the old days (before computers) I used process white or Tip-Ex to white out any errors and draw over it. If the mistake was too bad I'd redraw the panel and stick it over the old one.

In other Beano news, it seems the Christmas special is already out - in August! Looking at your posts about it on Blimey, it's usually out in October, so it's odd that it's apparently out two months early. Got anything in it?

Nope. Nothing in there or in the annual from me.
