Beano mystery

I'm just embarking on drawing my new mini-strip for The Beano. You've seen the character before, but never by me. Who is it? I'll reveal more details closer to its publication, although that won't be for several weeks yet of course. In the meantime, feel free to guess. It'll be fun to see which Beano character you think I'd be suited to draw.

My guess is Lord Snooty, mostly because of what appears to be a collar.

They look like braces in the drawing is it Biffo?

I'd love to see you take over Fun Size Baby Face Finlayson! He has that action packed anarchic style which I think would be a perfect fit for you.

Pansy Potter or a comedy version of Billy the Cat.

Lets see.. said it was a character he hasn't drawn before. So Biffo the Bear is out (http://lewstringercomics.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/its-biffo.html) .. including spreads and all.. I'm not sure on some characters he might have drawn... I wasn't a fan of the last time I saw Lord Snooty ( or more, Lord Snooty the Third)..

as for what character... no clue. Wonder how has the rights for Eagle Eye, Junior Spy these days..

Maybe the three bears then...;0)

It's not Eagle-Eye, I'll tell you that much. :)

First strip has now been emailed to Beano HQ. Drawing two more tomorrow.

Can you tell what it is yet?

It looks like a visor across his face so I second the Billy the Cat suggestion.

Don't make the mistake of thinking construction lines and random squiggles will form part of the finished drawing. :)

From your rough I could probably clean up little 'Erbert from Bash Street. So, my guess is something Bash Street or an 'Erbert strip. :)
