Manchester pix

Best cosplay of the weekend in my opinion.
Here's a few photos from the Manchester Film and Comic Con that took place over the weekend at Event City. My thanks to Cassandra Conroy and the team for the organization and their hospitality and to everyone who stopped by my table. It was also good to catch up with fellow comics folk Lee Sullivan, Dave Windett and his brother Paul, John Wagner, Carlos Ezquerra, El Torres, Bambos Georgiou, Gary Whiltlock, John Royale, John Jackson, and Dan Whitehead and his family.

The next comics event I'm attending is Lancaster Comics Day on Sunday 5th June. More info here:

Good to meet you, Lew - your book's at the top of my reading pile.

You can see my table in the background of that Davros picture, ha!

Good to meet you too, Ryan. Thanks for buying a copy of Brickman Begins!

Was that your table at the back there? I looked out for you but I must have walked past it a couple of times without seeing you so my apologies for that.

No worries, I was all over the place! Had four big tables full of games and eight foot walls between them all, it was slightly disorientating trying to keep an eye on everything at once, bah.

Think my favourite cosplay was the entire family (baby included) dressed as The Incredibles... complete with their nan as Edna.

I don't think I saw those. We were a bit isolated at the back of the hall. Hopefully there'll be better integration of comics/actors/traders at the London event in July.
