The Dandy Annual 2025 is coming soon!

Now available to pre-order from the D.C. Thomson Shop and other online sources, The Dandy Annual 2025 will feature 112 pages of new material including old favourites and brand new characters.

The new Dinah Mo, who made her debut in this year's Dandy Summer Special will feature in four double page strips in the annual, written and drawn by me.

Although using the name of a 1970s traditional "naughty kid" character, the new Dinah Mo, created by the editorial team at D.C. Thomson, is an eco warrior whose intentions are to save the planet even if the results accidentally cause chaos!

With a splendid cover by Steve Bright showing characters old and new, The Dandy Annual 2025 will be out in August and can be pre-ordered from the shop at this link:

Looking forward to this one. A nice quirky assortment of Dandy characters old and new this year.

Both the DC Thompson shop and Amazon had shown preview pages from it.

Artists include:

Nigel Auchterlounie (Corporal Clott + various scripts, his way of comic scripting really gets a chuckle out of me)
Barrie Appleby (Cuddles and Dimples, which he was the OG artist back in the 80's so nice to see him back with them since the early 2000's)
Wayne Thompson (Dreadlock Holmes, a lesser known 2000's Dandy character who's been getting a good deal of attention from the recent annuals and specials)
Kate Ashwin (as the new artist for Beryl the Peril, I liked her work on Clare, Justice Ninja in The Phoenix so I'm curious about her take on Beryl)
Mychailo Kazybrid (Dandytown Scouts, one of the newcomer strips introduced last year)
Nick Brennan (Dandy Wrestling Entertainment)
Steve Bright (Desperate Dan, always a pleasure to see a long standing detailed artist work with a long lasting character like Dan)

Overall, great to see a long established British comic icon like the Dandy still acknowledged and kept alive by Thompson via annuals and specials. Always a treat to read.
