Wigan Comic Con

My next convention appearance will be at Oldham Comic Con on 12th May, and after that it'll be Wigan Comic Con on 26th May. Here's the poster for the Wigan show, with my fat mush along with Nick Cotton from Eastenders and Boycey from Only Fools and Horses. Should be a fun event! Come along and meet us! ...and another event announcement!

I'm pleased to be able to announce that I'll be one of the guests at Wigan Comic Con on Saturday 26th May! This will be my first visit to Wigan (although I've passed through many times) so I'm looking forward to meeting new faces - and any friends who live in that area. Hope to see you there!

A brief history:

I've worked as a freelance professional humour comics artist and writer for over 40 years. I sold my first cartoon in 1983 and since then have created many characters such as TOM THUG, PETE AND HIS PIMPLE, COMBAT COLIN, BRICKMAN, ROBO-CAPERS, DEREK THE TROLL, TOUGH GUY AND SCRUFFY, SUBURBAN SATANISTS, SGT.SHOUTY and others.

My clients include IPC, Marvel Comics, Egmont, Panini, D.C. Thomson, Rebellion and many others, covering the comics field from originated characters to licensed properties, pre-school to adult on comics such as BUSTER, OINK!, BEANO, DANDY, TRANSFORMERS, SONIC THE COMIC, TOXIC, VIZ, CiTV TELLYTOTS, LEGO ADVENTURES, HERMAN HEDNING, SWEET FA, ACTION FORCE, SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN, RAMPAGE, LUCKY BAG COMIC, SWIFTSURE, WARLOCK, WHITE DWARF, ACES WEEKLY, THE DAREDEVILS, THE MIGHTY WORLD OF MARVEL, and many more.

My recent comics work includes:
