Easter with Tom Thug (1989)

A little something for you this Easter, with a Tom Thug page I did for Buster way back in 1989. Script and art by me, lettering by Mike Peters.

Thirty-one years later, Tom Thug makes a cameo appearance in the new Cor!! Buster Easter Special, on sale now in print or digital at this link:

I may post something else this weekend if I have time but if not I hope your Easter weekend goes as well as can be expected, and that you and your loved ones are safe and well.

good strip ^_^ technically, Tom Thumb doesn't Cameo in the latest Cor! Buster, cause the amount of appearance he has more it's an appearance ^_^ but that's splitting hairs a bit..

still, hope you keep doing well.

Well if we're splitting hairs it's Tom Thug, not Tom Thumb. :)

ah damn ^_^
I really need to slow down my typing or look at the keyboard once in a while (or bothered to read what I've written before posting)

Oh well.
come to think of it.. Who owns the rights for Oink! now? did that come under the Rebellion deal?

Some characters from Oink! are owned by Rebellion, but some are owned by their creators. Which is why David Leach can publish new Psycho Gran stories. So we're not likely to see an Oink! revival, but some characters (like Tom Thug) might still crop up in the specials.

Have you heard about Tim brooke-taylor? He Breathed life into Eric and made us laugh and cry. He will be missed.

Yes, very sad news. I was a bit too old for the Bananaman cartoon so didn't watch that but I enjoyed Tim's comedy work on The Goodies, and of course his classic 'Four Yorkshiremen' sketch on At Last It's the 1948 show.
