Just a quick plug for my pal Mike Higgs.
It's published at last! The Collected Cloak by my old mate and mentor Mike Higgs. A massive hardback collecting all of Mike's strips from Sixties comics Pow! and Smash! plus all the Cloak strips he did afterwards such as The Redundant Hero in my 1986 Brickman special. It has a new introduction by Alan Moore (thanks for the mention, Alan) and a new interview with Mike Higgs.
This strip was a huge inspiration for me to create my own comics way back when. Without The Cloak there would never have been Combat Colin indulging in that same style of comedy-action with mad robots, monsters, and crazy villains!
Published by Nat Karmichael of ComicOZ in Australia under licence from Rebellion, copies of this very limited edition book should now be available to those who pre-ordered it! (Although some shops seem to have delays from the distributor which hopefully will be worked out soon.)

Looks wonderful.
That page you show is from the first combined Pow! & Wham!, ain't it ? (the week after "great news from your pal the editor!" in the previous issue)
I've got that somewhere but my pages are nowhere near as white. Not my original copy either - mum threw that out years ago and I got one off eBay when I became a sad old man.
Still, according to latest scientific thinking, somewhere in the block universe it's always 1968.
That's right. It's from that issue. One of my favourite Cloak episodes as it shows how much Mike had progressed in just a few months.
