Combat Colin No.6... in 2025

COMBAT COLIN No.6. When? Where? I'm afraid it won't be in production until next year now but it will happen. It'll conclude the 1990s stories from The Transformers and will feature some of the stories that followed, PLUS bonus features in a big final issue! I'll post more info as it progresses.

Something to look forward to then. It's not been that long since issue 5, so I wasn't expecting to see this any time soon, but it's good to know it's at least on your road map.

Never read Transformers so I only know Colin from the reprints in recent years. I've enjoyed following a self contained infrequently published title. It's a nice contrast to the hamster wheel grind of keeping up with Wednesdays at the comic shop.

I tend to think of Brickman as your signature character, but I guess you've had a more sustained relationship with Colin over the years. He's certainly a better developed character and has long outgrown his parody origins as Dimbo.

Yes, it's been 45 years since I created Brickman but he's appeared so infrequently over the years that there's only about 150 pages in total if that. Mind you, there's only around 200 Combat Colin pages, but Colin is definitely the better known character of the two as he appeared in more mainstream comics.

I'm hoping to write a blog post about Brickman next week as a nod to the character's anniversary.
